Post 41 is about people - its officers, staff, brother and sister organizations, community partners, its 388 members, and you!

The American Legion Family is made up of four internal organizations - The American Legion, The Sons of the American Legion (SAL), the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA), and the American Legion Riders (ALR).

Eligibility for membership in The American Legion has recently been expanded to anyone who has served in the Armed Forces. All it takes is completion of an application, proof of service, and membership dues.

Eligibility for membership in the SAL is open to any son who has had a Father or Grandfather who served in the Armed Forces. A simple application and verification of service is required.

Eligibility for membership in the ALA is open to any spouse (male or female), widow, daughter or granddaughter who’s family member serve in the Armed Forces.

Eligibility for membership in the ALR includes members of the American Legion, SAL, or ALA in good standing.  They must be a legally registered motorcycle owner. Post members who meet these requirements are encouraged to open a ALR chapter at their home post, if none exists.

We would love to have you join our family! While there is no formal membership for "Friends of the Post," we welcome volunteers who would like to assist with many of our programs in the community.
